About the Taipei Exchange (TPEx)

Established in 1994, the Taipei Exchange is one of Taiwan’s two main securities markets, alongside the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE). Recognized as one of the most experienced Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) exchanges worldwide, TPEx provides a platform for innovative and high-growth companies to raise capital and connect with global investors.

Through TPEx, investors can diversify their portfolios with exposure to emerging, high-tech, and creative industries, as well as SMEs and micro-enterprises across Taiwan’s developing economy.

Market hours are Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 13:30 Taiwan Standard Time (GMT+8).

Eligible clients can request trading permission for the Taipei Exchange by:

  1. Logging in to Portal
  2. Navigating to the User > Settings > Trading Permissions menu item
  3. Selecting Stocks > Add/Edit (or Request)
  4. Choosing Taiwan
  5. Selecting Continue, then OK
