Interactive Brokers offers up to 24 currencies for clients to fund their accounts and set as their base currency. Currencies available vary by Interactive Brokers affiliate. Your base currency determines the currency of translation for your statements and the currency used to determine margin requirements. In addition, charges related to market data and research, inactivity fees and commissions on currency trades are also charged in your base currency.
